Shri. Marri Laxman Reddy
Founder Chairman of the Marri Educational Group, is a visionary educationist and an accomplished international sportsman who firmly believes that “a strong body breeds a strong mind”. This philosophy has been the cornerstone of his mission to offer holistic education that balances academic excellence with physical fitness and personal growth.
With a remarkable career spanning over two decades, Sri Laxman Reddy has established a group of premier institutions, including MLR Institute of Technology (MLRIT), MLR Institute of Pharmacy, St. Martin’s Engineering College, and several schools. Under his leadership, these institutions have grown into centers of academic rigor, innovation, and athletic achievement.
A lifelong athlete himself, he continues to actively participate in cycling, swimming, and running. His dedication to sports has earned him national and international accolades, including leadership roles in the Masters Athletics Association and the Master Games Federation of India. His message to students is consistent: maintain physical fitness through active participation in sports, as it builds discipline, self-confidence, and mental strength.
Sri Laxman Reddy also emphasizes social responsibility and community upliftment through education. Through scholarships, awards, and public outreach, he supports young talents and underprivileged students, ensuring education is inclusive and empowering. He notably felicitated Indian boxer Nikhat Zareen for her achievements, underscoring his commitment to nurturing sports excellence.
Today, MLRIT reflects his vision—an autonomous, NAAC-accredited institution with world-class facilities and a vibrant campus life that promotes both intellect and athleticism. His leadership continues to inspire thousands of students to strive for excellence in both mind and body.

Shri. Marri Raja Sekhar Reddy
Marri Raja Sekhar Reddy, inheriting a deep-rooted educational ethos from his father, Marri Laxman Reddy—the Founder Chairman of the Marri Educational Group—envisions an academic ecosystem where quality education, practical skills, and personal development go hand in hand. His mission is to ensure that every student receives holistic, future-ready education while faculty are empowered to grow professionally and contribute meaningfully to knowledge and innovation.
As the Secretary of MLR Institute of Technology, an autonomous, NIRF ranked, NAAC ‘A’-graded, and NBA-accredited institution, he has transformed the campus into a center of academic excellence, industry alignment, and global collaboration. His vision materializes through the establishment of advanced labs and programs in emerging fields like Artificial Intelligence, IoT, and entrepreneurship, along with strategic partnerships with global institutions such as Purdue University, ISB, the Wadhwani Foundation, EPAM Systems, and Virtusa.
Believing in the value of all-round development, he places equal emphasis on academics and extracurricular activities, with over 30 sports scholarships and national achievements such as winning the Indian College Basketball League. He also actively promotes global exposure by leading collaborations with international universities like the University of Oklahoma, fostering opportunities for faculty development, student exchange, and joint research.
MRR's student-centric approach ensures that every graduate is not only academically strong but also industry-ready, with two to three professional certifications in areas like software engineering, OOPS, front-end development, and database testing. Furthermore, through the Marri Rajasekhar Reddy Foundation, he continues to serve the community by offering scholarships to economically disadvantaged students and supporting those with athletic talent.

Shri. Marri Dhiren Reddy
Mr. Dhiren, the son of Marri Raja Sekhar Reddy and grandson of Sri Marri Laxman Reddy, represents the next generation of leadership within the MLR Group of Institutions. With a strong foundation in technology, strategy, and education management, he brings a progressive mindset to institution building—combining structure with innovation, and tradition with transformation.
As Director, Mr. Dhiren plays a pivotal role in academic planning, digital integration, and operational efficiency across MLRIT and its sister institutions. He is deeply committed to bridging the gap between education and employability by introducing future-ready curriculum, enhancing tech infrastructure, and encouraging innovation-driven learning.
A firm believer in data-driven decisions and quality benchmarks, he has implemented modern ERP systems, strengthened placement strategies, and encouraged industry certifications for both students and faculty. His hands-on approach ensures real-time problem solving, measurable academic outcomes, and strong stakeholder engagement.
Unlike conventional administrators, Mr. Dhiren champions experiential learning—through live projects, case competitions, incubation support, and exposure to startup ecosystems. His efforts are focused on shaping entrepreneurial thinkers who are equipped to lead in a competitive global landscape.
In addition to academics, he places strong emphasis on campus culture, digital literacy, and professional etiquette. He actively works to improve infrastructure, sustainability practices, and campus life, ensuring that MLR institutions are safe, tech-enabled, and inclusive environments.
With his dynamic leadership and clear focus on excellence, Mr. Dhiren is redefining institutional growth for the 21st century. He continues to strengthen the vision of his father and grandfather by building institutions that are academically strong, digitally advanced, industry-aligned, and socially responsible.

Dr. K. Srinivas Rao
With a distinguished background in academics and administration, Dr. K. Srinivasa Rao brings a wealth of knowledge, vision, and experience to his role as the head of academic operations at MLR Institute of Technology (MLRIT). His leadership has been instrumental in shaping a progressive academic environment that aligns with global standards while catering to the evolving needs of students and industries alike.
Dr. Rao’s core focus lies in building a strong academic framework by continually updating the curriculum to match the latest advancements in technology and industry practices. He encourages faculty and students to pursue meaningful research, innovative projects, and interdisciplinary collaboration, thus fostering a culture of inquiry and intellectual growth.
