MLRIT offers excellent infrastructure and encouragement for indoor games, promoting both recreation and competitive play among students. Indoor sports are available for all genders and are accessible to both hostelers and day scholars.

- Regular practice slots available in the evening.
- Students with good performance can get sports scholarships and university-level exposure.

- MLRIT players participate in events like Tech Mahindra Sports Fest BVRIT Fest, and others.
- Table Tennis and Chess players have represented JNTUH University teams at the South-Zone and All-India university levels.

Held in hostels and central indoor halls (chess, carrom, TT).
