Club History

Started in the year 2011, the CAME Club (Creating Aspirations for Meeting Elevation) was formed with the vision of enhancing the cultural landscape of our college through well-curated, impactful events. What began as a small initiative has grown into a leading cultural body, known for its professionalism, creativity, and commitment to excellence.

Over the years, CAME has been at the heart of organizing major college events from formal ceremonies to large-scale cultural fests fostering a spirit of collaboration, creativity, and celebration. Each event serves not only to entertain but to inspire, leaving a lasting impact on both participants and audiences.

Now in its 14th year, CAME continues to uphold its legacy of crafting meaningful cultural experiences and remains dedicated to elevating aspirations through every endeavor.

Our Events

Orientation Day

Helps ease the transition into college life by familiarizing students with facilities, faculty, and activities. Sets the tone for academic and extracurricular engagement, encouraging students to actively participate in campus life from the beginning.

Interaction Day

This is to introduce the CAME Club — its vision, activities, and opportunities to first-year students. Sparks interest in cultural activities while fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for newcomers.

Independence Day

Fosters patriotism and national pride among students and faculty. Provides a platform for students to understand the significance of freedom and responsibility.

Teacher’s Day

Celebrates and honors the invaluable contributions of teachers to the academic and personal growth of students. Encourages gratitude, respect, and recognition for the role of educators in shaping the future.

Navrat Naveli

Celebrates the cultural vibrancy of Navratri through dance, music, and traditional festivities. Provides students with a platform to express creativity through performances rooted in tradition.

Hellenic

Provides a platform for creative, unconventional expressions of art, fashion, and performance. Encourages innovation, imagination, and confidence through thematic and experimental events. Also adds diversity to the cultural calendar.

Club Anniversary

Commemorates the journey of the CAME Club, highlighting its legacy, achievements, and contributions to the college’s cultural identity. Provides an opportunity to reflect on the club’s growth, honor past and present members, and inspire future initiatives.

Kite Fest

Revives the spirit of traditional festivals like Sankranti through kite-flying and festive gatherings. Strengthens bonds within the student community through informal, joyous celebration.

Republic Day

Honors the spirit of India’s Constitution and democratic heritage through formal celebrations. Encourages student participation in ceremonies such as flag hoisting, cultural performances, and patriotic activities.

Traditional Day

Welcomes and integrates first-year students into the campus community through vibrant cultural celebrations. Encourages the celebration of diverse cultural identities through attire, performances, and interaction.

Women's Day

Welcomes and integrates first-year students into the campus community through vibrant cultural celebrations. Promotes awareness on gender equality, empowerment, and women’s achievements. Provides a platform for initiatives highlighting women’s contributions. Cultivates an environment of respect, support, and inclusivity.

Annual Day

Celebrates the academic and extracurricular achievements of the college through well-curated programs. Provides recognition to outstanding contributions from students and staff. Enhances institutional reputation through a formal, grand event reflecting the year’s milestones.

Ecstasy

Serves as the highlight of the cultural calendar, offering high-energy entertainment through live music, performances, and celebrations. Encourages large-scale participation and showcases the club’s organizational excellence.

Graduation Day

Marks the culmination of students’ academic journeys through a formal, dignified celebration. Honors the achievements of graduating students and strengthens the bond between alumni and the institution.

HISTORY OF CLUB MEMBERS

The CAME Club at MLRIT has stood as a platform for students to showcase their artistic talents, cultural spirit, and leadership abilities. Over the past few years, the club has expanded into various departments such as Dance, Music, Artistic Design, Scriptwriting & Anchoring, Visual & Graphic Design, Photography, Internal & External Affairs, Promotions, and Ground Work.

Over the past years, the CAME Club has been home to some exceptionally talented members who were selected in their 2nd year of B.Tech for their outstanding skills and passion.

In Artistic Design, Akshita and Nishanth joined the club for their creativity in visual design and contributed to events through innovative posters and backdrops.

Pranav, Saikumar, and Phani joined as part of the Script and Anchoring team due to their flair for storytelling and stage presence, scripting and hosting major events.

Gayathri and Shyam Krishna were brought in for their strong communication skills and handled both anchoring and promotions across events.

In the Dance department, Rishit, Reshma, Roshini, Nikitha, and Bhargav were selected for their energy and choreography talent, performing in college fests, flash mobs, and competitions.

The Music team featured Om, Param, Sam Rohit, and Shyam Krishna, who joined for their vocal and instrumental skills and played key roles in cultural performances.

In Graphic and Visual Design, Pavan, Krishna Teja, Param, and Om contributed through posters, social media creatives, and video edits, adding a strong visual identity to the club.

Khayum selected for his photography skills, documented memorable moments from all key events. For Internal and External Affairs, Phani, Reshma, Gireesh, and Jashwanth ensured smooth event coordination, college permissions, and guest handling.

Lastly, Varun and Jashwanth were chosen for Ground Work due to their reliability and dedication, managing event setups and backstage arrangements.

Each of these members, chosen for their unique talents in their 2nd year, contributed significantly to the club’s growth and success through active participation in various college events.
